Ancient India

Picture
India is one of the world's oldest civilizations.  The ancient Indians first lived in the Indus River Valley.  Surrounded by mountains for protection from invaders, India is the birthplace of two religions: Hinduism and Buddhism.  The purpose of this unit is to gain an understanding of ancient India, the Indian culture, and the history of India.
